About the Campsite
Setterah Park Campsite is a welcoming Lake District campsite a mile and a half from the quiet village of Askham. Set on a traditional fell farm, this Cumbrian site has spectacular scenery over the local landscape and makes a great starting point for treks out to Helton Fell, Ullswater, Pooley Bridge and other remote spots.

This private site is located at the end of a quiet country road, where we live in a traditional Lakeland farmhouse – don't hesitate to get in touch with us for tips and advice about the local area or to buy some of our farm-fresh eggs and honey.

For more on the food front, it's roughly a half-hour walk down into the village, where there's a local shop and pubs to try out, as well as an outdoor pool. Similarly close is Lowther Castle and Gardens, a large country estate that you may well want to visit during your stay here.

If you're in the mood for roving beyond the Lowther Valley, it's a straightforward 15-minute drive to Penrith, a market town with several supermarkets, a local butcher and a deli.
